Dale Steyn Grabbed a Sure Victory from New Zealand

In an important match of group A in World t20, South Africa removed their label of chokers by grabbing certain victory from New Zealand

Dale Steyn ruined the hopes of Kiwis in last overs.

In a sensational match played in Chittagong, New Zealand won the toss and made Proteas to bat first.
Start wasn't good for the South Africans. While score reached 42, 3 batsmen have returned to pavilion. De Cock 4, Du Plessis 13 and De Villiers scored only 5 runs.

Hashim Amla built a partnership of 55 runs along with JP Duminy.

Just after Amla returned to pavilion after scoring 41 runs, Duminy charged against the Kiwi bowlers. He scored 86 runs just off 43 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 10 fours and remained not out. His team scored 170 runs.

Kiwi openers provided a good stand of 57 in the chase of 170 but New Zealand lost 2 wickets on 66 runs.

Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor kept charging against the Proteas bowlers and built a partnership of 51.

Williamson could score 51 runs off 35 balls before he was out. Ross Taylor didn’t lose the other end and also didn't let the run rate to be out of control. But due to continuous loss of wickets from the other end, a winning game seemed to be slipping away from the New Zealand.

In the last over, Kiwis needed just 7 runs but due to outstanding bowling of Dale Steyn, they were only able to score 4.

In this way, South Africa won not only the game but also added two points to the total.

Dale Steyn got 3 and Imran Tahir got 2 wickets.

For his aggressive batting, Duminy was declared Man of the Match.
