An Israeli company known as StoreDot has created a battery which will charge in 30 seconds.
StoreDot has used some biological crystals made up of Amino Acids known as peptides inside the battery. A Samsung galaxy S4 was used with the prototype battery at Microsoft's Think Next conference. The dead battery was fully charged under 30 seconds.
The battery is being called a NanoDot battery and the problem is that it's the size of a brick at the moment but StoreDot is working on it.
They say it will take almost 3 years to reach the market and will be twice as expensive, compared to normal batteries.
Here's a buyer's guide for best wireless chargers 2020.
