Biggest picture ever and some tech news

Biggest picture ever:

The biggest picture ever, has been taken and is really humongous as it’ll consume 4.3 gigabytes of your hard disk. This picture comprising of over 1.5 billion pixels (69,536 x 22,230) has been taken by NASA’s Hubble telescope and released on 5th January. Complete picture is made up of 411 pictures in total and it traverses over 100 million stars of the nearest galaxy, Andromeda, spanning over 40,000 light years.

 Next generation Papers:

Chemist Wenshou Wang along with his co-workers has invented certain type of paper which does not require an ink pen or ink. Translucent plastic sheet embedded with certain dye utilizes the Redox reaction to print letters on it. Redox is the combination of Reduction and Oxidation. During Oxidation, electrons are lost by atoms and thus the dye changes its color from transparent to red blue or green depending upon the dye embedded and during Reduction, dye loses its color by gaining electrons. Just imagine, hundreds and thousands of trees can be saved by this invention, hence, global warming may be reduced

 Charge battery with light:

Microsoft is coming up with a technology, Auto Charge, which can recharge your mobile battery by just you sitting under the light. It is completely safe with no harmful effects because it can automatically shut down within 50ms in case of an obstacle blocking the rays. Camera inside the lamp can recognize a smartphone in its vicinity within 4 seconds. A 2000mAh battery can be charged through this lamp within 2.5 hours. These are mere experimental records of prototype. Hopefully, better and faster versions of this exciting gadget will soon be introduced. Microsoft is also planning to build charging rooms with multiple lamps as well as charging desks and cubes and smartphone only needs to be in the vicinity of any of these to enable charging
