LG (a technology company from South Korea) has introduced such instruments with washing machines and refrigerator which can chat with you using a chat app.

Due to the chat service, this app can tell you what is kept in your refrigerator even if you are outside your house. Not only this, but this app can also be used to control other instruments of LG.

Currently, it is only available in South Korea but LG is planning to expand this service to America and other countries. However, experts say that only few consumers will like this product.

Chris Green of Davies Murphy Group (DMG) said, "I am sure, we will need more intelligent products after 10 years but they are available for experimental purpose today".

He also said, "it is like, Ford is thinking about making a concept car. It is being seen that if people showed interest in it then what can be done further".

This HomeChat app talks with its consumer using "LINE". LINE is a famous chat app in Asia. It has been designed to understand natural language.

The interesting thing about the refrigerator is a wide angle camera fixed in it. Whenever someone will open or close the door of refrigerator, it will capture the image of supplies.

So whenever a consumer will go to market and he/she wants to know that if he/she has missed anything or not, he/she will be able to acknowledge this with the help of the app that is the supply available or not.

Other than this, the "Freshener Tracker" software of the refrigerator will update you about outdated supplies. But to get benefit from this service, consumer will have to inform the app about the supply.

Similarly, washing machine can be started by sending a message "Start Washing". And different tips can be taken from the oven about food and then according to the tip, food can be heated up to the required temperature.

But according to Dr. Wright of Oxford, this app is dangerous because home appliances can be hacked through this app.
