Colombo: Government of Sri Lanka has blocked more than 300 accounts of the biggest social network "Facebook".
According to Senior Information Security Engineer "Chandra Gupta" of Sri Lanka, the accounts were being misused.
He also said that Sri Lankan Government received more than 3000 complaints about Facebook accounts.
Larger complaints were received from students and artists. They complained about harassment and fake accounts of their profiles. After many complaints, upon investigation, 300 accounts were blocked.
