Islamabad: According to a report of united nations, 6.7 million people are drug addicts in Pakistan and 20% are women.
This was exposed in a report made by UNODC which is an institute of United Nations for the removal of crimes and drugs.
According to the report, the people who use drugs in different ways are from 15 to 64 years of age.
Joint Secretary of Narcotics Control Division "Zulqurnain Amir" told the reasons of increasing drug addicts in Pakistan. He said in that country where problems are many and resources are less, people become stressed and Pakistan is one of them. Therefore, number of drug addicts are large here.
