PTA has announced 4 qualified bidders for 3G and 4G spectrum. According to the chairman of PTA "Ismail Shah", bids of all the 4 operators Telenor, Ufone, Mobilink and Zong have been approved.
According to the chairman of PTA, all the four mobile companies are not the defaulters of Government. PTA thoroughly observed the legitimate timelines of their bids.
After a long wait, auction of 3G and 4G is going to held on 23rd April. Pakistan is the only country in this continent without 3G or 4G services while country under war "Afghanistan" started 3G spectrum 2 years ago.
