Karachi: Bandits looted 60 lakh rupees from 2 private banks in different areas of the city.
In Paposh Nagar district of Karachi east area, 5 to 6 armed robbers entered the private bank and made branch staff and security guards hostage and looted Rs 35 lakh. On the other hand, in the region of the Middle District juhrabad an other private bank robbed by force of arms and the account holders and staff was used as hostage, looted Rs 25 lakh and robbers easily escaped from the guards. SSP Central St. Ahmed said that the same group is suspected of involvement in both cases, but the investigation is ongoing.
It must be noted that 4 banks were robbed in Januray, 3 banks in February and now 2 more banks are robbed while Police was not able to identify or find the robbers which is a question mark on the performance and expertise of Sindh Government and Police.
