Google Has to Change its Search Results

Google

High Court of European Union has ordered Google that it has to change its search results due to "Right to be Forgotten" on the request of people.

The decree further states that on request of people, unrelated and old data should be omitted.

This matter aroused when a Spanish citizen who said that the bidding notice on his property is being displayed on google search which is an interference in his personal life filed a case.

While issuing the decree on Tuesday in Luxemburg, first right to control personal data belongs to the person himself.

Google says that the order is quite pessimistic and hopeless. Google spokesperson says that company needs time to deal with this decision and sophisticated outcomes of it.

Search engine says that it only displays those links which are available on the internet. In the past, Google considered such act as censorship of data.

Supporters of "Right to Forgotten" are quite happy on this decision and they consider this a giant leap in making the personal data of Europeans safe.

Google successfully defended the case in the earlier stages but it is now quite worried over the aggravating situation. It's not clear right now that what will the companies which own search engines do about this whole stuff.
